Ashley Hart, better known under her stage names: Angel Davanport and Angelenah, is a Minneapolis, Minnesota based Hip hop artist.[1][2]
Originally from Chicago, Illinois her career began in 2011.[3] After several years collaborating with underground artists she was featured alongside The Game (rapper) on the Tech N9ne track Priorities (2013). The success of the track led to her debut EP, the single Treat Em[4], and a number of additional features.[5]
She was a founding member of the rap group Rapperchicks alongside Psalm One, and Ill-Esha.[6] The group released their debut album and accompanying tour in 2016.[7]
In 2017 she moved to Minneapolis to collaborate with the rapper P.O.S, appearing on the track "Gravedigger" as Angelenah. Rather than return to Chicago she took a year away from music to work a "normal job" and to find her sobriety.[8]
In 2018 she returned with the EP "Sore But Grateful" and a European tour. 2019 saw features the Psalm One tracks "Non-Binary"[9] and "WWIV".[10]
