Angel Bastardo is a Minor League Baseball player for the Portland Sea Dogs. The Sea Dogs are from Maine and are a Double-A baseball team affiliated with the Boston Red Sox.[1]
Career
[2]Angel was drafted into Red Sox organization in 2018. He moved around from different teams until he found himself on the Salem Red Sox. But not very long after he was moved to the Salem Red Sox, he was placed on the 7-day injured list with an undisclosed injury. We are unsure either his injury was from training or being shut down for trading. After he was activated he was moved to the Greenville Drive Minor league baseball team. While he was with Greenville, he had a breakout in pitching (Doing well) And was promoted to the AA Portland Sea Dogs. Right now, he is currently on the Portland Sea Dogs.
Stats
[3]Angel throws a Fastball, Curveball, Changeup, and a Slider. His Fastball tops at 97 MPH and averages around 93-95 MPH. His Curveball sits around 81-84 MPH and has good movement. His Changeup averages 84-88 MPH and his Slider is at 85-88 MPH with movement.
