Aneo is a Norwegian company in renewable energy owned by TrønderEnergi and the fund HitecVision.

Background

Aneo was established in 2022 when the company was demerged from TrønderEnergi.[1][2] All the wind power plants in Trønderenergi's portfolio, along with 19% of the shares in their hydropower plants were part of the demerger.[3]

Aneo is a co-owner in Fosen Vind, which includes the wind parks Storheia, Kvenndalsfjellet, Harbaksfjellet, Geitfjellet, and Hitra 2. They are the operator and co-owner in several other wind parks, including Roan wind park, which previously was part of Fosen Vind. The development concession for the two wind parks Storheia and Roan was found invalid by the Høyesterett (Supreme Court) in 2021 (the Fosen conflict).[4][5]
