Aneet Padda (born 14 October 2002) is an Indian actress and singer best known for her breakout role in the 2025 romantic film Saiyaara.[1] She gained early recognition for her performance in the Amazon Prime series Big Girls Don’t Cry and continues to rise as one of Bollywood’s most promising young talents.[2][3]
Early life and education
Aneet was born and raised in Amritsar, Punjab. She attended Spring Dale Senior School and later pursued a bachelor's degree in humanities at Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. From a young age, she showed a passion for performance and modeling, appearing in advertisements for brands such as Cadbury and Nescafe during her college years.[4]
Career
Padda made her acting debut with a small role in Salaam Venky (2022). She gained prominence through the web series Big Girls Don’t Cry (2024) and released her debut music single Masoom the same year.[5]
In 2025, she landed her first lead role as Vaani Batra in Saiyaara, a romantic drama directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films.[6] The film was a major commercial success and marked her official breakthrough into mainstream cinema.[7]

Personal life
Aneet Padda is known to keep her personal life private. She is a trained dancer and enjoys painting and poetry in her free time. Padda is also an advocate for mental wellness and youth empowerment, having partnered with organizations that promote creative expression among young girls.[8]
