Growing up in Sønderborg, both Anders' schooling and pre-college happened there. He attended a private school, Privatskolen Als[1] from 1st to 9th grade and subsequently, he went to the technical pre-college HTX (a 3-year education) in Sønderborg.
He started playing in the orchestra at "Sønderborg Garden"[2] from the early age of 11. Until his mid-teens, Anders continued playing in the orchestra while also realizing that magic became a hobby for him. As years passed, that hobby soon turned into his passion, and Anders continued to explore that area of his life while continuing to play in the orchestra, where he also met his first business partner, Jan Hellesøe.[3] Jan and Anders together founded the company "Star Magic."
From local to national live events, Jan and Anders produced and performed their production shows. During their time together, the duo also participated in several national TV shows, such as "Aftenshowet on DR1",[4][5] "Scenen er Din on TV2", and "Sommershowet on DR1."
In his mid-twenties, Anders' dissatisfaction with his life grew multifold as he grew older. He experienced turmoil in his personal life as he struggled with his own identity. The effects were seen in his decision to move to the United States of America. He left Denmark in 2006 in a dramatic turn of events where he sold everything he owned, packed his suitcase and headed straight for the American glitter city of Las Vegas. He got approved for a visitor's visa for the United States and booked a ticket to Miami, FL.
In a fast transition from a life as a relatively poor immigrant with nothing but two suitcases to his name to an entertainer travelling the world, being granted the extremely rare and prestigious O-1 work visa led to a moment of pride for Anders which he credited to his studies of the mind, personal development, spirituality, and quantum physics.
O-1 Visa[6] is granted to a person of extraordinary talent as recognized by the US Government.[7]
Career

After coming to the US, Anders rebuilt his career in entertainment, first by performing close-up magic at local bars and restaurants, then later on cruise ships and television. He produced and performed in shows for the Latin American TV channel Univision and performed on several cruise ships owned by Royal Caribbean International and Carnival Cruise Lines.
Far from everything in the new country, Anders began his life in the USA after conjuring up small amounts of money - usually only enough for a meal or two, to kickstart his "American dream." But only the Universe and its immense power to bring people together at the right time made him present at a random lunch, where Anders sparked a conversation with a far-sighted TV producer and resultantly ended with the dream of the big breakthrough with seven-mile strides getting much closer.
With huge TV shows and no fewer than 54 million viewers watching Anders' magic and illusions live at home, Anders opened the door to monumental adventures and success.
He was so successful in this endeavour that he was flown from ship to ship to cover around eight weekly shows. He also had the unique chance to stand on stage with David Copperfield, who can bend spoons and make the Statue of Liberty disappear through the power of thought.
When mapped to his present-day life, it would be fair to say that Anders Hansen went from conjuring for a pittance on the street to making huge shows on TV that were shown all over the United States.
Anders & Bob Proctor
Despite his mounting success in the entertainment industry, in 2016, his deteriorating health due to a relentless travel schedule, including flying weekly from Las Vegas to the Caribbean and beyond, Anders decided to quit his career in entertainment.
Anders no longer experienced any joy in performing his beloved and treasured magic. So, after many years of being fascinated and preoccupied with illusions and the spinning of thoughts that constantly occurs in the brain, Anders Hansen put the magic wand and the large and chrome-plated illusions on the shelf.

From one day to the next, his growing dissatisfaction with magic led him to a revelation. He decided to learn how to convey the concepts he had learned in personal development whilst also using magic as the vehicle for his message.

And around that very time, a year later, on December 31st, 2016, Anders met the global pioneer Bob Proctor at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. From acquaintances to close friends, Proctor coached Anders to develop his own show, Real Magic LIVE.
Over five years, Anders learned everything he could from Bob Proctor and others in Mr Proctor's inner circle.
In 2020, Anders and Bob collaborated on a program called "The Secret to Real Magic".
Real Magic LIVE
Anders developed his flagship show, Real Magic LIVE, with the help and coaching of Bob. Real Magic LIVE is the brainchild of Anders Hansen. It is a hybrid between a show and a seminar that bridges magic and personal transformation in a new and innovative experience. The very first event of the show was held in Las Vegas in 2018 to great acclaim. Since then, the live experience has been taken to various markets, including Miami and Denmark. It also went on to bag a Telly Award.
Real Magic LIVE helped Anders coach and assist people in self-development with the help of illusions and the knowledge that everything is created twice. First in the imagination, then in reality.

In 2017, when he developed Real Magic LIVE, a Danish daily broadsheet newspaper called Jyllands-Posten covered an article on his life. The article included the following: "At 36, Anders Hansen can look back on a successful career as a magician. Now he is busy preparing the next chapter. He will use his skills as a magician to teach people about personal development."
Anders' life today
Having collaborated and co-created a program, The Secret to Real Magic,[8] with his friend Bob Proctor, a worldwide renowned pioneer in personal development, Anders continues to masterfully bridge two decades of entertainment experience with the absolute best in the personal development industry.
In his everyday life, Anders continues to coach and adamantly work his way through his career by putting all the tools he has learned through his years of studying quantum physics, spirituality, and personal development. These efforts have resulted in the birth of a new concept, and perhaps the only person practising it - PERSONAL TRANSFORMATION MEETS MAGIC.
From touring across countries to doing podcasts and interviews with people, Anders continues to talk about his journey toward helping people find their fulfillment by way of using magic as a vehicle to bring the concepts to life in an educational, engaging, and entertaining way.
Anders also officially became a citizen of the United States in April of 2022, once again, proving how he was able to make one of his dreams materialize into a reality.

Personal life
Anders met his current partner, Jose Alejandro Gonzalez, in 2015. The two moved from Miami to Las Vegas when they first met, and they later moved back to Miami in early 2020. They have two children (Chihuahuas), Chloe and Lola Hansen.
Awards and Accolades
Anders Hansen was awarded the extremely rare and prestigious O1 Visa (Person of Extraordinary talent by the US Government) in 2010, based on his work and contributions to the field of magic. Anders and his business partner were the first people to predict the lottery numbers LIVE on TV in Denmark in the TV show "Aftenshowet"[9][10]on the DR1 channel.
In 2020, Anders Hansen and his team won a Telly Award[11] for the opening segment to his live experience, Real Magic LIVE.[12]
In April of 2022, Anders Hansen became a citizen of the United States, a dream of his when he first immigrated to America.
