Andrew Yeung is a Global Product Lead at Google, event producer, angel investor, advisor, and influencer. He is known for being a product management leader at Google and Meta, an online internet celebrity, and an event host. In 2023, Business Insider called Andrew the “Gatsby of Silicon Alley”..[1]

Early life and education

Andrew was born in Hong Kong and spent 18 years in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China. He moved in Toronto, Canada in 2012, and pursued a finance and economics degree - graduating from University of Toronto’s Rotman Commerce program in 2017[2].

Career

Andrew started his career at Bell Canada. Following that, he moved to New York City to take a role at Meta as a Business Operations Lead for North America, before moving to Google as a Global Product Lead in 2022.

In his spare time, he started hosting events in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Austin.

In July 2023, Fast Company referred to Andrew's events as the "best meetups for creative professionals"[3]

In February 2023, Morning Brew covered Andrew's tech events, mentioned them as a place to recruit job candidates.[4]

In December 2022, Bloomberg refers to Andrew's events as an opportunity to expand networks, meet recruiters in a casual setting and, potentially, find connections with others going through the same thing.[5]

In November 2022, Andrew was invited to speak on Jason Calcanis's This Week in Startups podcast.[6]

Personal life

Andrew currently resides in New York City.
