Dalia Andreea Dobre (b. February 21, 2003, Lupeni, Hunedoara County), professionally known as Dreea, is a singer and actress of Romanian nationality. She is known for her unique image and versatility in the entertainment industry. Among the most notable appearances are the one in the show X Factor Romania[1] and the one in the series One True Singer[2][3] broadcast on HBO Max. After these broadcasts, the artist held her first concerts at the H Brewery in Bucharest. [4][5]
Life and career
Childhood and education
Dalia Andreea Dobre (Dreea) was born on February 21, 2003 in Lupeni municipality, Hunedoara county. She started singing since childhood at various festivals and competitions, both national and international[6] - she simultaneously attended the actor's art courses at the Dramatic Theater I.D. Sarbu Petroșani where she debuted in the theater show "Electra" after Sophocles, being the main character. Dreea chose a high school profile with an artistic track, starting the Actor's Art profile at the Constantin Brăiloiu Arts High School in Târgul-Jiu, where she participated in international theater festivals (Amifran International Francophone Theater Festival in Arad and Festival de Théâtre à Sorrento) going to complete her specialization at the Ion Vidu Art High School in Timișoara.
The beginning of the career
Andreea Dobre had her first televised appearance in 2020 - X Factor show where she made a strong impression with a reggae composition.[7] She even made it to the bootcamp in Ștefan Bănică's team.[8] In 2022 she participated in the One True Singer reality show broadcast on HBO Max, reaching the final stage with Rareș Mariș.
