Amy Goodman, SEA. Sculptor & Portrait Artist
Amy completed a Fine Art Degree in Southampton in 1997 and has since established herself as a sculptor of note. Based at Project Workshops, in Hampshire, Amy loves working in different media and has developed her unique style of bronze sculpture, welded steel, and a variety of 2D work, including her distinctive equestrian ink & acrylic wash paintings. Her work is shown internationally and she regularly exhibits with the Society of Equestrian Artists, where she is also a trustee. Amy’s work has appeared in ‘Country Life’ magazine, local press, The Times, The Daily Telegraph, BBC, and more.
Early Life
Amy was born in Windsor in 1974 and started drawing and sculpting from a young age. Having ridden all her life, horses have always been a passion and feature frequently in her work.
Education
After taking her A levels at the Garth Hill School, Amy completed a 2 year BTEC National Diploma in Art & Design at the Basingstoke College of Technology in 1994. In 1997 she completed a Fine Art degree, specialising in sculpture, at Southampton Institute (now Southampton Solent University). After completing her degree Goodman travelled to Africa, spending 6 months on a residency at Simba Lodge, in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.

2023 - Sir Mick Jagger & Keith Richards - 1.25 x life-size bronzes. Commissioned by Dartford Borough Council for their home town, Dartford
2020 - 'The Angel II'. Bronze - Commissioned for Winchester University
2017 - 'The Slayer of Belleros' - This bronze reinstated insignia of the Airborne Forces, depicting Pegasus & Bellerophon was commissioned by the 16 Air Assault Brigade for their HQ at Merville Barracks, Colchester
2017 - 'Treo 63(DM) - This life-size bronze of the brave sniffer dog, canine partner of Sergeant Dave Heyhoe was commissioned by Steven Ashton to be sited in Congleton, Cheshire
2015 - 'The Romsey War Horse and Trooper' - Commissioned for the Entrance to Romsey War Memorial Park, Romsey, Hampshire
2012 - 'The Angel I' - Commissioned for Winchester University
2012 - '3 Pegasus Sculptures' - Commissioned by London and County for Flying Horse Walk Arcade, Nottingham
