Amr al-Bidh (born 25 January 1984) is a prominent South Yemeni political figure who currently serves as the Special Representative [1] of the President for Foreign Affairs at the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and is a member of the STC Presidency [2]. He is widely recognised as the son of Ali Salem al-Bidh, the last President of South Yemen. Following Yemeni civil war (1994), he was exiled from Yemen. However, after an absence of 29 years, he returned to Aden[3].

Amr actively contributed to The Hirak, Southern Movement, advancing the Southern Cause and facilitating international communication. His involvement continues within the Southern Transitional Council (STC) where he maintains a prominent position. [4] [5][6][7][8] [9][10][11][12]
