Amin Saati is a Saudi Arabia Sport historian, born in Al-Alawi neighborhood in Jeddah in 1945 A.D. He is considered a pioneer in sports history and the first person to publish a sports book in Saudi Arabia by publishing the book (Al-Ittihad Club (Jeddah)) in 1382 AH.[1] He has many books on sports in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the most prominent of which is (Encyclopedia of the Sports Movement in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), which consists of eight volumes.[2]

Education

He holds a PhD from Claremont Graduate University in the United States.

He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.[3]

Work and memberships

- He worked as a sports editor at Okaz newspaper, and then he became head of the sports department, then editorial director, until he held the position of Deputy Editor in Okaz newspaper.

- He worked as The Chief Editor at Al-Nadi (The Club) magazine.

- He worked as a director of Al-Thaghr Club in Jeddah.

- He worked as a faculty member in the College of Business at King Abdulaziz University.

¬- The former Minister Plenipotentiary at the League of Arab States.

- Member of Okaz Press Foundation.[4]
