Ameen Khan (born on November 9, 1993) is an entrepreneur who is best known for introducing the largest online marketplace for mobile numbers. He is the founder and CEO of Amina Bazaar, which specializes in fancy numbers, VIP numbers, as well as regular mobile numbers.[1] Khan has sold over 1 lakh premium fancy mobile numbers across India.
Khan also owns a producing company called Amina Films. He's now working on two projects, one in Bollywood and the other in Pollywood (Punjabi). Mahi Bawa is the writer and director of both Films.
Early life and education
Khan was born on November 9, 1993, in Malerkotla, Punjab. He is the founder and CEO of Amina Bazaar, a company that specializes in fancy numbers, VIP numbers, as well as regular mobile numbers.[2] Belonging to a middle-class family, Khan always wanted to run his own business but owing to his family’s financial situation and health issues, he couldn’t proceed with his plan. This is when Khan dropped out of his college and started searching for a job, which he managed to do with a meagre meal and living in a limited space. After working in the role for a few months, Khan was not satisfied and decided to return to his village.
There came a time when Khan met with a major accident that resulted in a head injury followed by a loss of memory for a short period of time. He had just recovered when he was detected with an epileptic seizure from which he suffered for many years. But Khan never gave up.
Even in unfavorable circumstances, Khan took the plunge and decided to start his VIP number business with just Rs 300 in his pocket. He worked day and night for two years to make Amina Bazaar an established firm, which today operates from Mohali, Chandigarh. Khan wanted to simplify the process of buying VIP mobile numbers online, and that's how Amina Bazaar came into existence. His aim is to help customers purchase mobile numbers without any hassle.
Career
Besides being the CEO of Amina Bazaar, Khan also manages other businesses. He has his own production house called Amina Films Pvt. Ltd, through which he invests in Bollywood movies. Khan has his ongoing projects in Bollywood as well as Pollywood. He is currently working on Punjabi web series and one of his Punjabi movies is set to release in August 2022. Khan will soon be releasing a hindi movie as well in December 2022.[3][4]
Currently, Khan is working to find a solution to the problems experienced by people when buying fancy mobile numbers.[5] He wishes to eliminate common issues like limited choice of mobile numbers and concerns relating to porting. Khan’s venture offers mobile numbers from the best telecoms in the country, such as Jio, BSNL, VI, and Airtel, which are available at affordable rates.[6]
Khan has sold over 1 lakh premium fancy mobile numbers across India. He helps provide a hassle-free experience for his customers by delivering VIP numbers to their doorstep.[7]
Personal life
Besides work, Khan likes to indulge in spiritual activities and meditation. He is fluent in Hindi, English, and Punjabi.
