Amber Flora Thomas (born August 27, 1972) is an American poet. She grew up in Mendocino, California.[1] Thomas received her Bachelor of Art from Humboldt State University and her Masters of Fine Arts (MFA) in poetry writing from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.[2] She has taught at the Dominican University of California and at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks for their MFA program in Creative Writing.[3] Thomas attended the North Carolina Writers' Network Fall Conference in November 2022.[4]
