Amarpura is a small village of 20370 hectares in Poogal Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Amarpura depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Amarpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Amarpura's pin code is 334001[4], and village code is 00506900. The area of Amarpura is segregated as 1296 hectares irrigated area, 1502 hectares unirrigated, the 16755 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 515 hectare area not available for cultivation.
