Amanda Madita Elisabeth Carlshamre, born on June 16, 1989, in Österhaninge parish, Stockholm County, [1]Sweden, is a Swedish politician and deacon.

Biography

Amanda Carlshamre served as the President of Church of Sweden Youth (Svenska Kyrkans Unga) from 2013 to 2017. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Church Assembly (Kyrkomötet) in the Church of Sweden.[2] In May 2019, she became the National Chairman of the Party Unaffiliated in the Church of Sweden (Partipolitiskt obundna i Svenska kyrkan).[3] On June 5, 2022, Carlshamre was ordained as a deacon at Storkyrkan by Bishop Andreas Holmberg.[4]

In 2012, Carlshamre was crowned Sweden's Lucia at Skansen by Jan Malmsjö.[5]

She currently serves as the second vice-chairman of the Church Council (kyrkofullmäktige) in Eds parish for the mandate period 2022-2025.[6]
