Amalie Olufsen (born 20 November 1997) is a Norwegian model, influencer and actress born in Mo i Rana, Norway.
Career
Amalie first started posting modeling pictures to her Instagram account in fall 2019, coming from a small town this cause some furore as Amalie always knew she wanted to be an underwear model, and she had dreamt of becoming a Playboy Playmate ever since she was a child[1].
Her first feature was in the US edition of FHM in May 2020, quickly followed by her first cover feature for Playboy Africa in August 2020[2]. She followed her first Playboy cover with a cover feature for the biggest men's magazine in India, FHM, in September 2020 A new Playboy cover followed in December 2020 for Playboy Australia, this cover feature currently holds the record for most editions sold of Playboy Australia in its history - both after and before the started selling a digital edition in addition to their physical releases[3].
Rise Within Playboy
After her Playboy Australia cover feature she was granted the official title of "Playmate", which caught the attention of experienced Playboy photographer, Ana Dias. Amalie and Ana would go on to collaborate on two shoots - the first ending up as the cover feature of Playboy Mexico in July/August 2021 and Playboy Netherlands in December 2021. It was also featured as an editorial in Playboy Czech Republic and Playboy Germany (November 2021).
The second collaboration between Amalie and Ana led to Amalie being crowned "Miss March" 2023 in Playboy Germany[4], qualifying her to compete for the honor of being Playmate of the Year 2023[5].
Amalie is the first Norwegian woman since Lillian Müller in 1977 to be nominated for the honor of becoming Playmate of the Year[6]
Following this, Amalie got the honor of being the first official ambassador for Playboy Lingerie in Europe.
Other Ventures
Amalie has worked with brands such as Fashion Nova, Manscaped, Padre Azul Tequila, OnePiece, Lounge Underwear and Sauvage Swimwear, amongst others, so far in her career. She is also an official ambassador for the betting company ComeOn! and has featured in all their ad campaigns since making her debut as an ambassador in August 2020.
In February 2023 it was made public that she is collaborating with Ghost Pizza on a campaign which involves her releasing a limited edition pizza designed by her, emulating the marketing campaigns done by Post Malone, 21 Savage and David Dobrik in the US and being the first celebrity bringing the "custom menu" concept to Norway.
Personal Life
She is the younger sister of professional footballer Joachim Olufsen.
