Alvaro Jara born June 26 1966 in Santiago is a career diplomat and ambassador for Chile. Since February 16th he is the Chilean Ambassador to the Philippines[1].[1] Having entered the Ministry of Foreign affairs in 1933, he has served in the Chilean Mission for the European Union, the Embassy of Chile in Belgium and Luxembourg, the Delegation of Chile for the UNESCO (Paris) and the multilateral Mission of Chile for the United Nations.[2]
Education
Licensed in History and Geography from the University La Catolica of Valparaiso (chile), gradueted from the Diplomatic academy of Andres Bello, obtained a Masters from L'Universite Libre de Bruxelles Solvay in public administrations and a Postgraduate degree from Pontifica Universidad Catolica (Chile).[2]
