Allal bin Abdullah (1916 - 11 September 1953 AD) was one of the men of the Moroccan resistance at the time of the French protectorate. He tried to assassinate Sultan Mohammed Ben Aarafa, who was appointed by France after the denial of the legitimate Sultan Muhammad V. The operation formed the start of the Revolution of the King and the People that restored legitimacy and independence to Morocco[1].

Career

Allal bin Abdullah was born in the city of Guercif in the Hawara Awlad Rahho tribe. He took up the profession of painting in his hometown, in a café he had rented in the center of Guercif, located opposite the city’s municipality, which was called the Ma’aded Café before its current owner changed its name to Allal bin Abdullah Cafe. He moved to Rabat, after the provocations of one of the colonizers' colonizers, and settled in the Akari neighborhood, and established relations with a number of merchants in the city, its men and patriots. On Friday, September 11, 1953, he headed towards the convoy of Sultan Mohammed Ben Aarafa, who was heading towards the mosque of the people of Fez to perform the Friday prayer. Alal bin Abdullah drove a gray Ford car quickly in the direction of the Sultan's convoy, with a knife in his hand, to stab him with it. However, an officer threw himself at him to block him, and at the same moment, a group of secret policemen fired 8 bullets at Allal bin Abdullah[2]
