Early life and career

In young age, Alim joined Nalchik football school named of A.Apshev till 17. His teammate in school, Magomed Mitrishev, later joined U-21 national team. At this age, he struggled with dilemma of continuing football career or starting high education. He chose law department of Kuban State University instead of playing for the second team of local Spartak-Yunost. Also, he performed for student team Kuban State University and amateur clubs in Krasnodar Krai and the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria. He spent some time in St. Petersburg, where worked as a sales assistant in a shoe store and also maintained his playing form in an amateur league.[2]

Club career

Alim and his agent in 2014 started searching for a Mongolian team to join. Later, Alim decided to find a club on his own.[3] In 2017, Selenge Press Falcons signed him. He became a player of the main squad fast, appearing in 8 of 9 first matches of the season. Then, after poor team results and visa issues, Alim returned to Russia and signed with his old club Lokomotiv based in Kropotkin. In 2018, he signed with Anduud City and later Khaan Khuns, playing in the national Mongolian league for two years, reaching bronze medals in 2018.

Later in 2020, Alim looked for a team in Facebook, and was signed by Tainan City F.C., Taiwan league club. With Alim, Taiwan Steel became league champions in consecutive 3 seasons (2020-2022) and Alim was a strong squad member during these seasons, scoring 2 goals.

Tainan City qualified for AFC Cup qualification rounds in 2021, where Alim played his first international matches against Lee Man and Eastern Sports Club.[4] He was a main player in all matches of Taiwan City in AFC Cup.
