Since February 2020, Aliki Paliou has been a director for Performance Shipping Inc., and as of the 2022 annual shareholder meeting, she has been the board's chair.
Since January 2020, she has also held the positions of director, vice president, and treasurer for Unitized Ocean Transport Limited.
Ms. Paliou earned an M.A. in Scenography from Central Saint Martins School of Art and Design in London, UK, after studying theatre studies at the University of Kent in Canterbury, UK.
She earned her degree with distinction from the Greek School of Fine Art in Athens, Greece, in 2005. She is wed to Performance Shipping's chief executive officer, director, and secretary, Andreas Michalopoulos. She is Simos Palios's daughter and the sister of the CEO of Diana Shipping.
