Alicia Hayes is an American filmmaker, writer, director, and artist.
Career
Alicia Hayes is an American filmmaker, writer, director, and artist. She is the founder of Vero 8 Pictures, a production company based in Northwest Arkansas. Hayes's debut feature film, Living Colors (2017), received international distribution and was screened at the Das Burg Film Theater in Germany, starring Nick Wilder.[1]
Hayes is also known for her short screenplay Pripyat (2023) with Malcom McDowell and Elina Golde[2], which won the Platinum Remi Award for Best Short Screenplay at the Houston International Film Festival and the Vegas Movie Award[3] for Best Screenplay of the Year in 2024.[4]
Her visual art, often exploring themes of gender and identity, has been exhibited at Gallerie Michaelangelo at Caesars Palace, and The Regis Gallery in Las Vegas.[4] She was featured in the Chicago Tribune.[5]
In addition to her film and art career, Hayes produced and edited tribute videos for the British American Business Council-Los Angeles, earning Gold and Silver Telly Awards for her editing work on the Christopher Guy and Malcolm McDowell tributes.[6]
