Ali Phi
Ali Phi is an Iranian new media artist.[1]
His works have been exhibited in Virginia Commonwealth University,[2] Ontario Science Centre,[3] University College London,[4] Ars Electronica, SciArt Initiative,[5] Patchlab,[6][7] Asia Now,[8][9] Art Brussles,[10] MUTEK,[11] Touchdesigner Summit[12] and TADAEX (Tehran Annual Digital Art Exhibition).[13]
He has presented his art practice through talks and workshops in University of Tehran,[14] Sonic Jeel at VCUQatar,[15] LASER Talks of Leonardo (journal),[16] FITC,[17] Symposium III, Frontiers of New Media Arts at Ars Electronica and NODE Forum for Digital Arts.[18]
His recent audiovisual performance entitled Indefinite Couplet[19] inspired by Stanisław Lem, commissioned by Patchlab festival was documented in Arsenal Contemporary Arts Gallery Toronto and premiered on Play Krakow[20] part of the Kraków Culture program on the occasion of the Year of Lem.
