Ali Jamal (born 31 January 1982) is a Kuwaiti financier based in Monaco. He is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Azura Partners, a global wealth management firm.

Early Life and Education

Jamal was born in Kuwait and served as an officer in the Kuwaiti Army for a decade. Ali holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and has pursued advanced executive education at Cornell University, specializing in Leadership and Executive Management. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School, having completed the Advanced Management Program.

Career

Early Career

Jamal, originally from Kuwait, was an officer in the Kuwaiti military for a decade before starting his career in finance.[1]

Prior to founding Azura Partners in late 2019, Ali was a Managing Director and the Head of Key Clients Emerging Markets at Julius Baer Group Ltd where he led the bank's Key Clients & UHNW division for Southern Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Here Ali worked with UHNWI, their family offices, and their institutions.

In the summer of 2019, Ali Jamal founded Azura Partners; a global wealth manager that specializes in providing investment and wealth management solutions to ultra-high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and single family offices.

The firm has 6 global offices in London, Monaco, Geneva, Dubai, Singapore, and New York.[2]

Jamal was named by Spear's as one of the "Top Recommended 2023, UHNW Wealth Managers"[3][1]

Charity Work/ Board Memberships

He is on the board of the Mayor's Fund for London and is a Crown Patron of the Princess Grace Foundation. Jamal is heavily involved in Chain of Hope,[4] an organization founded by Sir Magdi Yacoub.

Ali Jamal is married and has two children.
