Alfred Cookman (A.C.) Morgan (1876-1931) was an American zoologist and entomologist.[1][2] The only child to his parents, Isaac Jefferson Morgan and Isaac's first wife Rajinie "Janie" (Cannon) Morgan.[3]

Morgan worked for the U.S. Bureau of Entomology in Florida and describing several new species of thrips, investigating pest control for tobacco plants and publishing several articles throughout his career.[4][5][1][6][7][8][9] Morgan attended and graduated from Cornell University in the early 20th century.[3] He married Stella Rocelia Thayer (1876 - 1961) in 1906 in Brooklyn, New York.[3]
