Alex Bonetig (born 20 August 2002) is an Australian Association footballer who plays as a Defender (association football) for A-League Men club Western Sydney Wanderers FC. Originally from Shellharbour, New South Wales, Bonetig has been playing with the Wanderers since signing with the academy in 2016.[1]
Club Career

Having played in the youth level since 2016, Bonetig signed a 2-year scholarship deal on 9 June 2022 after impressing current Head Coach Mark Rudan whilst training with the senior team.[2] On 22 January 2023, he made his professional senior club debut against the Newcastle Jets, coming on as a substitute after Brazilian Defender (association football)(footballer, born May 1987) went down with an injury, the game ended in a 1-1 draw.[3]
Personal Life
Bonetig has a younger brother, Liam, who also plays for the Western Sydney Wanderers FC.[1]
