Alden Bostwick (b. 1998) is an independant folk/country singer-songwriter and composer known for her poetic lyricism, clear voice, and beautiful melodies.[1]
Biography
Alden Bostwick was born in Olathe, KS in July of 1998 to a business owner and child psychologist. From a young age, she learned to play the piano and sang at various popular and classical music competitions around Kansas. At the age of eleven, she began composing and writing piano, vocal, and choral music. Alden finished in the top ten of KC Superstar, a American-Idol-like competition for Kansas City area youth during high school and participated in musical theater and classical music events in and around Kansas City. She attended St. Olaf College on a music composition scholarship, where she sang as a member the St. Olaf Choir. Alden recieved a U.S. Fulbright grant to the Czech Republic in 2020,[2] before attending the University of North Texas to recieve her master's in music composition. While at UNT, Alden wrote, composed, and recorded her first studio album, Somewhere Wild.
Career
Alden is in the process of independently releasing her debut album Somewhere Wild during 2024.
