Alastair John Owens (born 10th of September 1971), is a British Geographical Historian, President of the Geographical Association, and Professor at Queen Mary University of London where he has worked since 2001,[1] located in Mile End and former Head of the university's Geography Department.
Alastair Owens studied BA History and Geography at King's College London, graduating in 1993, then followed directly onto completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), at Queen Mary University of London.
