Alan Tormey - Liberal Democrat Councillor for Childwall[1] Alan was born in Dublin, and is from Cabinteely in south Dublin. He is the nephew of prominent ex Dublin City Councillor Dr Bill Tormey[2]. He attended St Brigids BNS, Mart Lane, Foxrock, Dublin 18 and finished his academic studies in Newpark Comprehensive School, Newtownpark Ave, Blackrock, Co Dublin. Alan has primarily worked in the finance sector, in addition to serving in the British Army but has now decided to split his time between work and politics with a view to developing a career in politics. Alan won his seat in the Liverpool City Council Local Elections on 2nd May 2019.[3]
