Akodra is a small village of 612 hectares in Nathdwara Tehsil in Rajsamand district, for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Akodra depends on FATEHNAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Akodra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Akodra's pin code is 313323[4], and village code is 03044400. The area of Akodra is segregated as 52 hectares irrigated area, 255 hectares unirrigated, the 265.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 40 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Akodra is a census village in the district of Rajsamand, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1954 and has total administration over 450 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of FATEHNAGAR and Rajsamand to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
