Ako (Akaki) Akhalaia ( born January 14, 1989, in Tbilisi) is a Georgian Marketer and business consultant.[1][2]
Education
Ako (Akaki) Akhalaia was born on January 14, 1989, in Tbilisi. He graduated from Newton High School (Kansas), KS, USA. After returning to Georgia, he studied business law at the Georgian-American University, and in 2011 received a master's degree in Marketing Strategy from Kingston University in London.[3][4][5]
Career
In 2011, Ako Akhalaia founded the first Georgian online business magazine Marketer.ge.[6] He is the co-founder of Harvard Business Review Georgian Publishing House, the co-founder of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity|Cannes Lions Georgia Festival Creative Festival.[7][8][9] In 2013 he founded the annual business event called Spotlight.[10] In 2015, he was elected President of the Georgian Association of Communication Agencies (ACAG).[11][12]He has been the author and presenter of Marketer.ge podcasts since 2019. The show airs on channels such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts.[13] Since 2015, he has been the Forward Academy founder, which includes David Gogichaishvili's courses in people management and business consulting projects.[14][15][16][17]
