Akhil P Dharmajan is a young Malayalam novelist. He was born on 16-01-1993 in the village of Pathirappally in Alappuzha district as the youngest son of KV Dharmajan and Maheshwari. From a very young age he was noticed in writing. When he was young, Akhil loved storytelling. Later the step was changed to writing. He completed his first novel while in seventh grade. Akhil's stories were rejected by all the leading publishing companies in Malayalam. While doing his mechanical diploma, Akhil's stories were posted as chapters on Facebook and the stories went viral on social media. Instead of waiting for the publishing companies to leave, Akhil started his own publishing company called 'Kadha' and published his first novel 'Ouija Board'. After printing the book, Akhil started selling the books at bus stands and railway stations in every district of Kerala to take them to the people. Soon people were taking over Akhil's books and launching several editions of the books. With that, the publishing companies who rejected Akhil's stories came looking for him and now he is one of the leading young writers in Malayalam. After the Ouija board, he wrote and published his second novel, which is a fantasy thriller, Mercury Island, in 2018. Mercury Island also released several editions very quickly. The novel 'Ram c / o Anandhi', which was released in December 2020, is now selling well as a bestseller.
