Akheraj Ka Gara is a small village of 117 hectares in Garhi Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Akheraj Ka Gara depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Akheraj Ka Gara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Akheraj Ka Gara's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03411700. The area of Akheraj Ka Gara is segregated as 45 hectares irrigated area, 10 hectares unirrigated, the 58 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 3.57 hectare area not available for cultivation.
