Akali Prem Singh Ji were the 15th Jathedar of Shiromani Panth Akali Budha Dal.[1] Akali Prem Singh Ji were born in Punjab India, Though they are most known for their years of seva at the gurudwara of Mata Sahib Devan Ji in Nanded.[2]
Seva
Baba Prem Singh Ji spent their entire life doing seva of the gurudwara of Mata Sahib Devan Ji. They would wake up at Amrit vela and do extensive jaap and nitnem. Baba jis seva was so large that even sitting next to them you would start reciting waheguru.[3]
Jathedari
On September 3, 2014, Baba Surjit Singh Ji Akali, aged 69, passed away. Their funeral services were held at a Gurdwara Sahib near Bathinda. The whole panth (including Meet Jathedar Baba Bahadur Singh Ji) chose Baba Prem Singh Ji as the next Jathedar of the panth.[4]
Passing Away
Baba Prem Singh Ji passed away in October of 2019. Baba ji passed away in a car crash when a school bus moving at high speed in the wrong direction hit Baba Ji's car.[5]
