Akali is a small village of 3258 hectares in Sheo Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Akali depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Akali is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Akali's pin code is 344501[4], and village code is 02079900. The area of Akali is segregated as 2592.07 hectares unirrigated, the 604.9 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 61.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Akali is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 619 and has total administration over 114 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
