Akachi Cornelius Odomene is a Nigerian Academic and Historian that specializes in the social history of Africa.[1] He is a professor of African History at the Federal University Otuoke and a fellow at Wilson Center.[2] Akachi is the Dean of Faculty of Humanities at the Federal University Otuoke. He obtained a doctorate from the University of Ibadan in 2008. In 2013-2015 he was selected as the Oxford-Princeton Global Leader in the United States.[3] In 2013-2014 he was selected as the Neihaus Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at the Princeton University.
