Ahmad Ali Goudarzi (Persian: احمدعلی گودرزی, born 1960 Borujerd) is a Brigadier general of Police Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran,[1][2][3][4] who has been the Commander of the Border Guard Command since 2019.[5][6][7][8][9] He began his military career in the Gendarmerie in 1978 and was active in the Iran–Iraq War.[10][11][12][13]
Goodarzi served as the Police Commander of Alborz Province from 2012 to 2014, and was the Police Commander of Fars Province from 2014 to 2019, and served as the Deputy Commander of the Border Guard Command from 2019 to 2021.[14][15][16][17][18]
