Ahad Ali Khan (Urdu:احد علی خان) (born 14 November 1990), is one of the emerging Pakistani musician, with unique blend of Qawwali, Sufi Islamic devotional music. He is student of Ustad Rizwan-Mauzam, nephews of Late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Allah possessed him unique vocal abilities, he is famous in Qawwali Islamic Devotional Music, ghazals and other light music.

Early life

Ahad Ali Khan is native Punjabi singer born in rich art cultured city Faisalabad. His father Haji Iqbal Miran was a well-known singer belongs to a famous Pakistani Musical family known as "GUNCHA". History of GUNCHA family traces its musical ancestry more than 100 years back. The great Ustad Fateh Muhammad; grandfather of Ahad Ali Khan and his fellow Ustad Muhammad Hussain were one of the most famous qawwali singers of the Indian subcontinent and established their qawwali (Sufi music) group 60 years ago. After partition his Grandfather; Ustad Fateh Muhammad moved along with his family to Pakistan in 1947 and settled in Faisalabad. Here the era of fame begins and this family became extremely popular both for its wide repertoire of Hindustani classical, spiritual (Sufi) and popular songs, they were also very famous due to their superb command on Urdu and Punjabi languages. Their famous group got popularity with the name of "GUNCHA BROTHERS"[1]. They were the pioneers of the Qawalli groups; they recorded qawwali music and regularly listened on Radio Pakistan. Fazal Miran, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ahad Ali Khan Ahad Ali Khan was married in 2012 and blessed with four daughters and one son. His father in law Fazal Miran has performed music with Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan[2]. He also performed as a chorus singer in the Rizwan-Muazzam Qawwali group.[3] Ahad Ali Khan is student of Ustad Rizwan-Muazzam Ali Khan Qawwals; sons of Mujahid Mubarak Ali Khan front line Pakistan qawwali singers due to their own style. Another credit to them is they are nephews of legendary singer Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (late).

Career

Ahad Ali Khan started his singing journey with his own group 14 Years ago, at the age of 13. In the beginning, he performed in private gatherings, shrines and Islamic religious events. Afterward he recorded and released his first Qawwali and Solo tracks and got great appreciations. Some of his famous Qawwali track is Ali Mola Ali Dam Dam.[4] Another milestone he crossed when he recorded his beautiful patriotic song Rakhna Pakistan Salamat Ya Allah. He also performed it live on an Youm-e-difa 2019 organized by ISPR is one of his best music track. Another blockbuster Single is Tere Ishq Nachaya touched the sky of fame. Ahad Ali Khan is shining star of today's Music of Pakistani music industry, especially Islamic Devotional music. He has performed on different Pakistani TV Channels like; Samaa TV, A-Plus TV,[5] DM Digital. Another single of Ahad Ali Khan Tera Ye muskurana is ready to release. Both audio and official music video will be release in december 2020.[6]
