Agarvado is a small village of 268 hectares in Pernem Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Agarvado depends on SIOLIM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Agarvado is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Agarvado's pin code is 403512[5], and village code is 00002600. The area of Agarvado is segregated as 109.82 hectares unirrigated, the 7.29 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 150.44 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Agarvado is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 1478 and has total administration over 324 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SIOLIM and North Goa to sell salt and make their living.
