After Sappho is a 2022 novel by Selby Wynn Schwartz published on 15 July 2022 by Galley Beggar Press.[1]
Summary
In a series of vignettes, After Sappho explores the romantic and creative lives of women in 19th and 20th century, many of whom were influenced by Ancient Greek poet Sappho. The novel explores themes of lesbianism and feminism. Many of the characters are fictionalised versions of real historical figures.
