Afrika Jean K. Guy is appointed new RDB CEO where he was appointed by the President of Rwanda Paul KAGAME on January 13, 2025.[1] [2]
Past experience
Before joining the Rwanda development Board, Afrika Jean Guy since 2010 was working with African development Bank and in 2021 he reappointed as an acting director of regional integration coordination office.[3] Before December 2021, he was a senior Policy Expert with East African Community and the director of export promotion at the Rwanda export promotion agency.[1] Afrika and African development bank have impacted the development of the continent especially in the sectors of Agriculture, transportation and trade.[4]
Education
Afrika Jean K. Guy hold a master's degree in international commerce and policy from George Mason University, and advancing and alumnus of leadership expertise through Executive Programs at Harvard Kennedy school and Oxford University.[5] [6]
