Vincent Villuis, known professionally as Aes Dana, is a french electronic music artist, producer, composer and founder of Ultimae Records. His electronic music includes ambient, atmospheric, cinematic to downtempo, electronica, and trance. Also psychedelic, chillout and psybient influences can be seen in his music.

He has collaborated with Solar Fields as H.U.V.A. Network. He was also one of the founding members of Asura in 1996.

Career

In 1996, Villuis started Asura with Charles Farewell, producing psychedelic ambient with trance elements. In 1998, Christopher Maze joined them and in 2000, the album Code Eternity, was released[1]. In 2001, Villus left because of his new project Aes Dana, and Alex Ackerman took his place.

Aes Dana and Sandrine Gryson founded Infinium Records which later changed its name to Ultimae Records in 1999.

Villuis is curator for the Fahrenheit Project compilations of music from various artists. As H.U.V.A. Network with Swedish artist Solar Fields, he produced three albums of downtempo music, the first being Distances (2004). Also he collaborated with the Greek artist Miktek on 3 EP releases.
