Advanced Media Trading (also known as Advanced Media or AMT) is one of the largest distributor of professional video, photo, broadcast and cinema equipment and accessories in the Middle East and North Africa representing more than 100 recognizable brands including but not limited to Sony Professional Solutions, Zeiss, DJI, Hasselblad, and RED.[1].
History
Founded in 2002 in Dubai, UAE, Advanced Media conducts business across the MENA region covering every aspect of the industry from consultancy, training and sales to installation, service, and maintenance from its main headquarters in Dubai.[2] The strategic new premises on Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai, spanning 1500 sqm and including an interactive showroom and practical office spaces, were inaugurated in 2021. The new premises are in close vicinity to Advanced Media service center and warehouses in the al Quoz Industrial area. [3] Advanced Media has also expanded regionally in recent years with a service centre in Egypt and a full-fledged showroom and service operation in Saudi Arabia. [4]
Cine
Cine is Advanced Media's biannual digital cinema community event that was first launched in 2020. CINE2022 held from 17 to 19th of March 2022 coincided with the company's 20th anniversary. The primary objective is to create a community event that enables dialogue and discussion between broadcast and production professionals[5], and create a meeting point where a gamut of cinematography equipment, ranging from cameras and lenses to audio products will be demonstrated.[6]
