Adrian Benegas (born 1 March 1989 in Asuncion, Paraguay) is a Paraguayan songwriter and keyboardist.

Music Career

In 2017, Adrian established a symphonic power metal project called TRAGUL.[1] Guest musicians includes Zuberoa Aznarez (Diabulus in Musica) on vocals, Steve Conley (Flotsam and Jetsam (band)|Flotsam and Jetsam) on guitars, Sander Zoer (Delain) and Alex Holzwarth (Rhapsody of Fire) on drums and Oliver Holzwarth (Blind Guardian, Tarja Turunen) on bass.[2]

In November 2019, Adrian released his first solo power metal album called The Revenant.[3] The album features Ralf Scheepers, Herbie Langhans, Henning Basse and Zuberoa Aznarez on vocals, Sebastian Ramirez on drums and Diego Bogarin on bass and guitars. [4] The recording process was carried out in Germany, Spain and Paraguay. Mixing and mastering was done by Jacob Hansen.[5]

In May 2021, Adrian releases his second solo material, an EP of five songs called Diamonds in the Dark, which features Herbie Langhans.[6] on vocals and Sascha Paeth in production along with Adrian Benegas. Mixing and mastering was done by Sascha Paeth.[7]

In 2022, Adrian Benegas signs with German label Reaper Entertainment.[8]

Adrian Benegas is currently in the final stages of the production of his second solo album. The upcoming new studio album will be released in early 2023 through Reaper Entertainment. It will contain 11 unreleased songs and will be the follow-up to his debut album The Revenant.[9]
