Aditya Iyengar[1] (also known as Aditya & Adithya) is a playback singer and songwriter from Hyderabad, India. He works predominantly in Telugu language and Tamil language.
Background
Aditya was born into a Brahmin family in Hyderabad and started learning Carnatic music at the age of 15. He then got exposed to different Indian languages and various forms of Indian music styles. He started his career as a playback singer in 2014.
Besides singing songs, Aditya also worked as a lyricist for movies like Baahubali in English, and Show Time in Telugu, both for M.M. Keeravani. He also wrote a Hindustani language song named "Aayat Bane Hum". released on T-Series.
He also played the role of a music composer for a Telugu language music band called "The Shake Group".
Aditya worked as a Carnatic Music trainer at Shankar Mahadevan Academy.
He started collaborating with Pravin Mani, a music composer who worked as one of the prime associates of the Oscar winning composer A. R. Rahman. Their first single together is called "BOOM BOOM"[2]
