Adewale Odusanya (born 10 September 1980), popularly known as the Tailor Made Chef, is an award-winning Nigerian entrepreneur and chef. He is best known for his web cooking series Food for Thought, which has gained mass recognition in the F&B industry, especially in Nigeria and the U.S.

Odusanya is the winner of the 2012 “So you Think You Can Cook" competition. He is regarded as one of the best-known and most influential chefs in the country and is often seen at talk shows and online interviews.[1]

Early life and education

Odusanya was born on 10 September 1980 in Washington DC and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. After completing high school, he moved back to the U.S. and began pursuing a career as a Chef.

Career

Odusanya has been passionate about cooking since he was a teenager. Having grown up in Nigeria, when he moved back to the U.S., Odusanya decided to showcase his skills as a chef and established his personal brand, the Tailor Made Chef. Under this alias, Odusanya showcases his unique culinary skills keeping in touch with his Nigerian Roots and its traditional flavors.

Odusanya also runs a web cooking series, "Food For Thought" with biblical values, where he shares his recipes to different cuisines from around the world. Apart from that, Odusanya has also launched a couple of traditional cooking spice blends that have acquired great reception from the locals. All these products are available to buy on his personal website.

Personal life

Odusanya is married to Yemisi, and the couple has two sons.
