Ademola Faleye (born March 9, 2002),[1] is an American college football tight end for the Washington State Cougars. He previously played for the Michigan State Spartans and the Norfolk State Spartans.[2]

Early Life and high school career

Faleye was born in Boston, Massachusetts but grew up in up in Brockton, Massachusetts..[1] He attended Brockton High School in Brockton, Massachusetts..[1] He is the cousin of defensive end Samuel and offensive tackle Samson Okunlola,,[3] who are blood brothers. In high school, Faleye played wide receiver for the Brockton High School Boxers. He hauled in 10 receptions for 142 yards as a sophomore,[1] but missed out on most of his junior and senior season due to an achilles tendon rupture injury. He was rated as a three-star recruit before committing to play college football for the Norfolk State Spartans.[4]

College career

Norfolk State

In week 9 of the 2021 season, Faleye caught his first college career touchdown in a 31-20 victory against Morgan State.[5] In 2021, he finished the season with 5 receptions for 38 yards and one touchdown as a freshman.[4] In 2022, he caught 4 passes for 55 yards and one touchdown.[4] After the 2022 season, Faleye decided to enter the transfer portal on December 6, 2022.[6]

Michigan State

On December 12, 2022, Faleye transferred to play football for the Michigan State Spartans. In 2023, he did not see any in-game action due to taking a redshirt season.[4] In 2024, Faleye started the season playing behind Jack Velling, but they would then would split more reps later down the season. Faleye wrapped up the 2024 season with 2 receptions for 18 yards.[7] On December 9, 2024, Faleye entered the transfer portal again, with one season of eligibility remaining.[6]

Washington State

After entering the portal, Faleye received offers from Eastern Michigan, Washington State, Southern Mississippi, Kennesaw State, and Robert Morris with interest from Tulane, Tulsa, Eastern Carolina, Temple, JMU and Ball State. He went on 3 official visits to Eastern Michigan, Kennesaw State, and Washington State. On January 9, 2025, Faleye committed to play for the Washington State Cougars..[6] He was the first Power 4 transfer coming to Washington State in 2025.[8][9] Faleye was noticed for being one of Washington State's best blockers, specifically second on the team with a grade 74.0. With this grade, he is ranked number 5 in the country among tight ends with at least 50 pass-blocking snaps in 2025. [10][11]
