Adekemi Kikelomo Adeniyan born on May 8 1987 is a Pastor, Author and Nigerian dentist working in rural communities. She is the founder of Dentalcare Foundation[1]a nonprofit working in rural parts of Nigeria . She is passionate about breaking down the barriers of oral health inequities. She is the author of the oral health children's book "The Girl Who Found Her Smile[2] and the producer of the Oral Health Animation" Anita Says"[3] In 2019 International Women's Day, she was listed by the Royal Commonwealth Society as one of four inspirational women in science[4]. She was also profiled as woman of the week on BellaNaija[5]

In 2020, she was among the hundred most inspiring women in Nigeria profiled by TheGuardian[5]. She was also profiled in BusinessDay as one of the phenomenal women in business[6].

In 2021 Adekemi was recognized by Science Africa as an oral health advocate champion for her oral health story book and work in rural communities.[7]

She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from I. Ya Hobachevsky Ternopil State Medical University, Ukraine and completed an MSc degree in Medical Leadership at Lancaster University, UK.

She is a 2016 Alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative RLC, West Africa; an associate fellow of the Royal Commonwealth Society, United Kingdom; She is a Senior Atlantic Fellow for Health Equity[8]at George Washington University . In 2019 she won the Nigerian Her Network “Woman of the Year” award[9] for Healthcare. She is one of the 7 Nigerians[6][10] chosen as a 2021 New Voices Fellow in the Aspen New Voices Fellowship.[11]
