Adcolna is a small village of 371 hectares in Ponda Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Adcolna depends on BANDORA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and One spring. Adcolna is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Adcolna's pin code is 403107[5], and village code is 00019200. The area of Adcolna is segregated as 36.19 hectares irrigated area, 75.54 hectares unirrigated, the 112.39 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 146.55 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Adcolna has One post office (Banastrim B.O) and Four public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Adcolna has Two banks and One credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with One recreational center.

Adcolna is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 1688 and has total administration over 385 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BANDORA and North Goa to sell coconuts and make their living.
