Adam Ratcliffe was born in Philadelphia, and he is an American actor, producer, and writer known for Southpaw and Right Before Your Eyes.

Career

Adam Ratcliffe performed in known productions such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, House of Cards, Boardwalk Empire, Brotherly Love, and Southpaw starring Jake Gyllenhaal.[1] One of Ratcliffe's most known performances was in the biopic Right Before Your Eyes, directed by David Vincent Bob,[2] starring Brian O'Halloran, Tony Devon, and Corrie Graham.[3] His work earned him a Best Actor award at the International Independent Christian Film & Music Festival in Orlando Florida.[4] Ratcliffe's Right Before Your Eyes film was produced by Philly Born Films.[5] His film of the same name won the Best First Time Director Award, the Best Cinematography Award, and the Best Local Feature Film Award at the 12th Annual Philadelphia Independent Film Festival.[6] Adam Ratcliffe's Right Before Your Eyes was shown at the Depth of Field International Film Festival, Queen Palm International Film Festival, Pittsburgh Independent Film Festival, Victory International Film Festival, and Delco Film Festival.[7]

Ratcliffe has been a recurring presence in shows such as Blue Bloods[8] and the Netflix The OA starring Valeri Mudek, Melanie Ehrlich, and Cynthia Mace.[9] In 2019, Ratcliffe experienced a year that involved him landing roles in projects like The Flight Attendant on HBO Max, alongside Kaley Cuoco.[10] Ratcliffe won the Best Actor in a Feature award at the Northeast Film Festival in 2019.[11] He starred in the film Brotherly Love in 2015 with a cast that included Faizon Love, Logan Browning, Keke Palmer, and Malik Yoba.[12] Ratcliffe starred in the movie Saint Michael of the City which was featured at the Garden State Film Festival in 2022.[13] He went on to sell the screenplay Subway Son.[14]
