Adam Herman was born in Quincy, Illinois.[1] He is an award winning author and songwriter. Herman currently lives in Duluth, Minnesota and performs with the Americana band, The Slamming Doors.[2] [3]He is the co-host of two podcasts, The Podcostner and The Oddville Revue.[4] He was a founding member of the Denver-based band James & The Devil.[5]

Herman's style of writing has been described as "magical realism" and "one step away from reality." He has also written and directed a short film, Hot Damn.[6]

Herman is also credited for a small part in the horror movie, The Hand That Feeds playing the role of "Band Lead Singer." (2021)[7]
