Adam Gleason (born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Carmel, Indiana) is an American entrepreneur, former radiologist, and racing driver.
Gleason received his radiology training at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.[1] While pursuing his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio,[2]Adam met his wife, Mandy Gleason. The couple started their first business, Replica Surfaces,[3][4] together during his residency. During the same time, Gleason, a lifelong motor sports fan, developed an interest in kart racing and began competing at the Dallas Karting Complex, where he participated in club, regional, and national races. In 2017, he competed in the SKUSA Summer Nationals.[5]
After completing his radiology residency, Gleason retired from medicine to concentrate on his entrepreneurial endeavors.[6]
In 2023, Gleason made his touring car debut in the SRO TC America Series, driving the Megawatt BMW M2 CS powered by Bitcoin in the TCX class.[7] Gleason’s Title Sponsor, Megawatt, is Indiana’s largest vertically integrated Bitcoin mining service.[8][9] Gleason will be competing in the full 2023 TC America Series including races at Sonoma Raceway, NOLA Motorsports Park, Circuit of the Americas, Virginia International Raceway, Road America, Sebring International Raceway, and Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Adam started the season with P1 in free practice 1 at Sonoma in challenging mixed conditions.[10] He finished P4 in both races at Sonoma that weekend.[11][12] Adam finished P4 at NOLA race 2[13] after a tough battle with TCX veterans Colin Garrett and Lucas Catania.[14] Adam did not finish race 1[15] after an incident with the No. 14 car.[16]
